Conveniently located in the shopping center at Northpark and Brookdale. We are co-located with the offices of Dr. Lugo and Pizza Hut

What is Kingwood Strength & Conditioning? 

Kingwood Strength & Conditioning  is a fully equipped private personal training studio located in the heart of Kingwood.  All training is conducted in a small but well equipped facility,  by appointment with your personal trainer. 

Kingwood Strength & Conditioning was opened in 2007 by trainer and coach Andy Baker as an alternative to the large commercial health clubs.  We offer private, effective personal training at a more affordable rate.   

Kingwood Strength & Conditioning provides an environment where people who are serious about getting into great shape can come and train in private and learn how to safely and effectively go about developing their strength and fitness levels. 

Spacious 1400 sqft facility is perfectly suited for private personal training or small group sessions

 

What does Kingwood Strength & Conditioning do? 

I offer one on one personal training to athletes and non athletes alike.  I will design a customized strength & fitness program that is appropriate for your goals and ability levels.  Each and every workout you perform at Kingwood Strength & Conditioning will be done under my supervision.   Working with a trainer ensures that you will be performing exercises correctly, choosing the right exercises for your goals, and progressing the intensity of your training at the right pace. 

Along with your fitness or sports performance program, you will be provided with nutritional guidance to help speed your progress.

2 heavy duty Power Racks. The power rack is an essential piece of training equipment and should be the focal point of any serious fitness or athletic facility

Who can train at Kingwood Strength & Conditioning?

Anybody who is interested in becoming stronger and more fit.  We have clients ranging from Division I College Athletes, to busy corporate executives,  to stay at home moms looking to drop a few pounds.   All our strength and fitness programs are designed for you, as an individual.  I have clients who come here to lose weight, gain weight, get stronger, get faster, improve their cardiovascular health, etc. 

Hardie and Jane are one of many husband/wife tandems that train here to improve their strength, health, and mobility

What makes Kingwood Strength & Conditioning different from other gyms?

There is no guesswork at Kingwood Strength & Conditioning.  Every personal training client and athlete is placed on a customized training program in accordance with your goals and ability levels.  All training is conducted in a private or semi private environment.  There are no crowds, no waiting on equipment, and no distractions.

For those of you who have little or no experience in the gym, or just don’t like crowds, you will enjoy the privacy and one on one attention you get here.

Troy gets some coaching on the deadlift. Troy is an avid golfer, basketball player, and wake boarder. Staying strong and fit is essential to keep up the activities he enjoys

Our Approach to Training

I believe all of my clients, athletes and non athletes, young and old, men and women, benefit most by emphasizing a strength oriented training program. 

Most of the clients that start at Kingwood Strength & Conditioning are quite simply very weak.  By getting my clients stronger and more competent on a handful of basic free weight exercises my clients see great improvment in sports performance, body composition, or just about any other fitness related goal. 

After a few weeks here you will be stronger, less fat, and more fit. 

My workouts generally incorporate a full body strength workout and some form of cardiovascular conditioning, all tailored to your goals and current level of fitness.
